The University of Massachusetts Lowell Applied Research Corporation (UMLARC) is a 501c3 University affiliate entity focused on soliciting and accepting Department of Defense Applied Research contracts.  UMLARC primarily supports UMass Lowell’s Research Institute (UMLRI) and other University of Massachusetts Research Centers in pursuit of these contracts.
